The studio is buzzing with activity right now. There are canvases everywhere, the table is covered in paints and my head is full of ideas. With just ten days to go until the exhibition, I am feeling that lovely mixture of excitement and nerves.
Summer with the children means my days are a little like my paintings – full of contrasts. Mornings are for brushes and paints; afternoons are for outings, playgrounds and ice cream. Sometimes I think this final stage of preparations is like a marathon with the occasional sprint – but the moment when all the paintings are hanging in place always makes it worthwhile.
A few intense days lie ahead – some paintings are ready to be packed, while others still need their finishing touches. But each day brings me closer, and I cannot wait for the doors to open for the exhibition opening in Všeradice on 10 August.
🤎 I would love you to come – it will be colourful, personal and truly heartfelt.
