Back from a peaceful break – and straight into a creative rhythm

After a few days at a spa, I am back in the studio. This short escape gave me exactly what I needed – time to pause, take a breath and reconnect with myself. In the peace and quiet, I found clarity about my next steps. Now the paints, brushes and ideas are all in full flow again.

I am preparing for an exhibition opening on 10 August in Všeradice. I am creating a new collection of paintings. In each one, I want to capture the power of emotion, a moment of stillness and movement that words cannot describe.

Interestingly, it is in moments of tension, with deadlines approaching, that I create most intensely. Perhaps it is a healthy kind of stress. It makes me focus on what matters rather than dwell on unnecessary details. That is when my most powerful works emerge.

August means a great deal to me. The exhibition will reflect not only the work of recent weeks, but also an inner journey. The paintings I will present there carry something personal. I believe they will find their audience.
