Autumn half-term at the studio is approaching, bringing a short break from our creative time together. From 26 to 30 October 2026, the Kristýna Smetanová Studio in Beroun will be taking a few days off. We will put aside our brushes, coloured pencils and canvases for a while and return in November with renewed energy and inspiration.
When will we take a break from creating?
The studio will be closed from Monday 26 October to Friday 30 October 2026.
During these days, we will take a break from our regular art courses for children and individual drawing and painting lessons.
We will return to our usual timetable on Monday 2 November.
I wish all our younger and older artists a lovely autumn half-term full of experiences, colour and perhaps a little creativity at home, too.
I will still be receiving emails and new enquiries during the holidays
Although the studio is taking a few days off, I will not be disappearing altogether.
I will continue to respond to your emails, messages, painting orders and new enquiries about art courses.
I just ask for a little patience, as it may take me slightly longer than usual to reply.
If you are interested in art courses for children, individual lessons or a commissioned painting, please feel free to write to me during the break.
You can find more information about my work and ways to work with me on the Kristýna Smetanová Studio website.
Autumn half-term at the studio will bring fresh inspiration
Anyone who creates knows that the best ideas sometimes come just when we put down the paintbrush.
Autumn also offers a beautiful palette of colours. Golden leaves, warm shades of brown, burgundy and orange, and the changing natural world all invite us to paint.
It is often these small experiences that inspire my new paintings and creative activities with children.
In my studio, we focus on more than just the finished picture. The joy of creating and the development of young artists’ imagination, patience and confidence also play an important role.
That is why I believe that even a few days off can bring plenty of new ideas.
I look forward to seeing you again in November!
Autumn half-term at the studio will fly by, and from Monday 2 November we will be creating together again.
Thank you to all the parents, children, clients and visitors for your understanding.
And if you are looking for a little artistic inspiration during the break, you can also browse my abstract paintings.
Because even when the studio is closed, art is always open!
