A transformation worth the effort

Every creative space deserves a breath of fresh air now and then. My Ateliér Kristýny Smetanové has undergone a small but important transformation that took quite an effort – but it was worth it.

I wanted this to be a welcoming place not only for my students, but for me too. A space filled with the light, calm and inspiration I need for my own work and for teaching courses. I changed the layout, added new elements and made everything more organised. The feeling that creating here now comes more easily is priceless.

At the studio, you can see my current work, get a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the painting process and, if something catches your eye, take a piece of my work home.
On display are paintings available to buy and my original wallets featuring motifs from my own painting.
