Prophecy

The Native American woman in this painting is more than a figure – she is a symbol of ancient wisdom and a connection to something beyond ourselves. Her gaze turns upwards, towards the place from which answers come that the human mind often cannot grasp, but the heart understands.

Signs, ornaments and traces of ancient stories float around her head. Hidden among them is the word TRUTH – not immediately visible, but there for anyone who pauses and looks a little longer. Just as in life: truth is not always in plain sight, but those who seek it will eventually find it.

‘Prophecy’ is a painting about time and silence, about listening to our inner voice and the voices of our ancestors. It reminds us that nothing happens by chance and that every sign around us has a purpose. Here, the Native American woman acts as a mediator – connecting earth with sky, past with future, and each of us with our own soul.

This painting tells us that truth always comes to light. Perhaps when we least expect it. Perhaps in a symbol we only notice at a second glance. But it is always there – hidden and clear at once, like a prophecy that comes true when its time arrives.
